Dão

The Dão is one of Portugal's most respected wine regions, nestled in the granite hills of central Portugal and sheltered by surrounding mountain ranges. Touriga Nacional, the grape's ancestral home, produces some of its finest expressions here. White wines from Encruzado are increasingly acclaimed for their ageing potential.
